6 Years of Riot!
7:22 AMIt's been 6 years since Paramore's second album, Riot!, was released. Brand New Eyes for me, is the best work by the band so far, but Riot! has always been my favorite. I love the sound of this album, it's uplifting and just... perfect.
Hallelujah -- this song sounds really good. but whenever i listen to this, i feel kinda awkward on the screaming HALLELUUUJAAAAH part.
Fences -- my favorite song on the record. no need to explain.
When It Rains -- i once listened to this song over and over and over again because i once liked it so much. then i got bored (i get bored easily, to be honest.) but i still LOVE this song!
We Are Broken -- a perfect song. nuff said.
That's What You Get -- the song that brings paramore into my life. this is the first song by them that i listened to, and i've become a big fan ever since. i still remember how i first listened to this song. my brother got his phone plugged in to our car's player, and he was shuffling songs to play. then this song came on, i knew it was paramore. i already knew the band because they were famous for being a female-fronted band. at first i was like, wow this band is so cool. but this song sounded greater than anything that time, and i never thought that a female-fronted band could be that cool. the song was perfect, the sound of the drums, guitar, hayley's voice, lyrics, everything. that's how i found out about paramore, i started digging, and here i am, still obsessing over them.
Misery Business -- this is another song that makes me an even bigger fan of paramore. a live version of this song always gives me goosebumps, i really hope i can hear this song live one day. (i don't want to talk about paramore's show in Jakarta, i really don't.) also, this song is relatable, i mean, once a whore you're nothing more i'm sorry that'll never change.
